The Ibero-American Network of Science and Faith promotes education, dissemination, and research about the relationship between science and faith. Members are committed to exploring this dialogue though constructive and inclusive approaches, in accordance with the Protestant and Ecumenical ethos of the Network.
The Network was established at a meeting in Mexico City in 2015, which included strategic discussions for promoting science and faith issues in the region. It was decided that, initially, the Network would operate primarily as a collaborative online initiative. For this reason, it is currently not registered in any country and it is administered by an organizing team, rather than an executive committee. During our second meeting, we will discuss the establishment of a more formal administration.
The Ibero-American Network of Science and Faith brings together Christian academics and advanced students who are passionate about addressing science and faith issues within their local contexts, including universities, theological seminaries, churches, and ministries. We eagerly invite anyone who shares these interests to join to the Network.
